the gidea park hotel is a lovely independent spot. it's only a 5-minute walk to the tube, and there's free parking. we enjoyed trying the nearby micro pub and two indian restaurants. the prices were super reasonable, making it a great place to support.

The stay included a clean, comfortable room with useful amenities like Wi-Fi, tea/coffee, and a fridge. the bathroom layout was awkward, as the kettle was positioned behind double doors, making it cumbersome to use. Despite these challenges, the property was conveniently located near shops, adding to the overall positive experience.

Perfect for families but priced a bit high
The staff were exceptional, from arrival to departure, making us feel welcome like we were family. Breakfast was freshly cooked and had great choices, setting a good mood for the day, nothing beats a solid meal before heading out.
It wasn’t ridiculously expensive but still felt a bit on the higher side.
